Mauritius

Here are a couple of shots from Mauritius. Beautiful place, of course, and great people, but the weather was humid and rainy for much of the week.

I still need to work through the photos I made there. Once done they'll be available through Simephoto here in Italy and 4Corners Images in London.

Tech: This was my first trip out with the Nikon D7000. It's small and light, so great for travel, and the image quality is impressive. It's only let down by a too sensitive shutter release and limited bracketing. The body and controls are a bit fiddly compared to the D2x/D3s but for a small, inexpensive camera to travel with it's pretty good.
