Here's a little backstage from the workshop I presented in Mauritius last week. I was invited there by the tour operator Francorosso after winning a competition organised by TAU Visual. My friend and colleague Arcangelo Piai came along to help and together we ran a 6-day course covering everything from light and composition, portraits to story-telling.
The first shot, 'Paradiso' was made at night using the light from a cell phone to paint with during a 2-minute exposure. Just for fun.
